Duct Pressure Drop Calculator 1.0.0: first stable release
Single-duct-run pressure drop via Darcy-Weisbach/Swamee-Jain and Huebscher equivalent diameter, with every intermediate value shown.
Duct Pressure Drop Calculator (MEC-01) hits 1.0.0. It’s a single-page calculator for one job: pressure drop on a single duct run.
What it does
Friction loss comes from the Darcy-Weisbach equation with the Swamee-Jain approximation for the friction factor; rectangular ducts get their equivalent diameter via the Huebscher method before that formula runs. Fitting losses can be entered as a Sigma K sum or built up from a fitting schedule. Velocity, Reynolds number, flow regime, and Mach number are all shown alongside the result — not just the final pressure drop.
