# Plant Room Studio 1.0.0: first stable release

Plant Room Studio (MEP-01) hits 1.0.0. It's a 2D/3D workspace for planning, coordinating,
and validating MEP plant-room layouts — electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment in
one document.

## What it does

Position equipment, define maintenance-access aisles, and check clearances directly on
the 2D plan — then view the same layout extruded to 3D with no re-modelling and no
second file to keep in sync. Validation runs against the layout itself, so clearance
and access problems surface before they reach a coordination meeting.

## Getting data in and out

DXF and IFC are both first-class: import a CAD background to trace over, or a PRS-tagged
IFC file to reopen a saved layout as a document. Export emits real DXF entities and IFC4
geometry with round-trippable property sets, not a flattened snapshot — these are gated
premium features, alongside watermark-free exports.

## Mobile

On phones and narrow viewports the tool opens as a read-only viewer — full 2D/3D
navigation, no editing. It's built for reviewing a layout on site, not authoring one on
a six-inch screen.
