Voltage Drop & Cable Size Checker 1.0.0: first stable release

LV cable sizing and voltage-drop verification against BS 7671 data or your own impedance values, with every formula and source table shown.

Voltage Drop & Cable Size Checker (ELC-01) hits 1.0.0. It sizes LV cables and verifies voltage drop against BS 7671 data — or your own impedance values, when the project spec calls for it.

What it does

Enter the load and run, and the tool walks BS 7671’s cable-selection tables to size the conductor, then checks the resulting voltage drop against the applicable limit. Every formula, source table, and assumption used along the way is shown — nothing is a black box you have to trust blind.

Cable selection you can hand to a reviewer

The cable-selection report lays out the full selection path, not just the winning size, and the numeric outputs have been tightened for precision so the figures in the report match what a reviewer would derive by hand. A cable preview on the tool page shows the selected size before you commit to it.

Free, no gate

This one has no entitlement gate — it’s a free tool from day one.
