# Privacy, cookies & ads

## Cookie and consent panel

MEP Tools shows a cookie/consent panel on your first visit. You can reopen it at any time from
the **"Cookie Settings"** control in the footer.

The panel offers:

- **Accept all**
- **Reject all**
- **Manage** — a view with two separate toggles, **Analytics** and **Ads**, so you can accept
  one and reject the other.

### Readers in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, UAE, and Saudi Arabia

If you are browsing from the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, UAE, or Saudi Arabia, you see Google's certified consent
flow instead of the panel described above. It offers the same underlying choice — it is just a
different, region-required interface.

## Ads

Ads are shown to guests and Free-plan users. **Pro is ad-free.** See
[Plans & payments](/docs/plans-payments) for what else Pro includes.

## Your data controls

Two controls live in account settings, both covered in detail on the
[Account & security](/docs/account) page:

- **Export your data** — an immediate JSON download of your profile, subscription, projects,
  and notifications.
- **Delete your account** — permanent deletion of your projects, subscription record,
  notifications, profile, and sign-in account. There is no undo, so export first if you want a
  copy.
