# Ceiling Coordination Studio FAQ

## Which plan do I need?

Ceiling Coordination Studio is a Pro-and-above tool. See
[Plans & payments](/docs/plans-payments) for what's included at each tier.

## Can I use it on my phone?

You can open and view a previously saved project on a phone or narrow window, but you can't
create or edit the layout there — it opens as a view-only viewer. Use a desktop-width screen
to edit.

## Is there a 3D view?

No. Ceiling Coordination Studio is a 2D cross-section editor only.

## Can I export to DXF or IFC?

No. The only export is a PNG or JPG image of the section — see
[Exporting an image](/tools/ceiling-coordination-studio/docs/exporting).

## What does Auto arrange actually check?

It lays the zones and services out against the same coordination checks and thresholds shown
in the **Validation** and **Rule Set** panels, so a layout it produces should already be
close to compliant. See [Auto arrange](/tools/ceiling-coordination-studio/docs/auto-arrange).

## Can I change the compliance thresholds for my project?

Yes — the **Zone B minimum width**, **ELV / non-ELV separation**, **Clearance above dry
tray**, and **Arm's reach limit** are all project-editable within a bounded range. See
[Rule set](/tools/ceiling-coordination-studio/docs/rule-set).

## Will an older saved project still open correctly?

Yes. Fields added since your project was last saved (rule set, linked-zones state, zone
enabled flags, service and branch names) are backfilled automatically when the file loads.
