# Saving & projects

## The File menu

Ceiling Coordination Studio uses the same File menu as the other tools:

Signed in: **New**, **Load project**, **Save**, **Autosave** (**On** / **Off**), **Save as**,
**Rename**, **Export Image…**. Signed out, the menu offers **New**, **Sign in to save** and
**Export Image…** — projects can only be saved to a signed-in account with a verified email.

**Ctrl/Cmd+S** saves the current project.

## Older saved files

Projects saved by earlier versions of this tool keep opening correctly — missing fields
(rule set, linked-zones state, zone enabled flags, service and branch names) are filled in
automatically when the file loads.
