# Keyboard shortcuts

`Mod` is **Ctrl** on Windows/Linux and **Cmd** on macOS.

| `Mod + Z`         | Undo last action              |
| `Mod + Shift + Z` | Redo last action              |
| `Mod + S`         | Save project                  |
| `R`               | Start drawing a room          |
| `E`               | Open the equipment library    |
| `M`               | Move / select tool            |
| `Shift + M`       | Move the selection            |
| `Shift + R`       | Rotate selected equipment 90° |
| `L`               | Lock / unlock the selection   |
| `Delete`          | Delete the selected item      |
| `G`               | Toggle grid snap              |
| `Shift + G`       | Toggle grid visibility        |
| `Shift + V`       | Run validation now            |
| `Z`               | Zoom to extents               |
| `V`               | Cycle between 2D and 3D view  |
| `Shift + ?`       | Show keyboard shortcuts       |

These shortcuts apply while the canvas has focus (Save and view toggle work tool-wide). AutoFit's
own lane and keep-out draw tools follow the same pattern as every other draw tool: **Enter**
commits, **Esc** cancels — see [AutoFit](/tools/plant-room-studio/docs/autofit). See
